Teresa Tepania-Ashton MNZM is a distinguished Māori leader and independent director whose career spans global banking, enterprise strategy and impact investment. After a 12-year rise within Citibank to Vice-President, she returned to Aotearoa to lead Te Rūnanga‑ā‑Iwi o Ngāpuhi as CEO (2004–2011), building corporate assets and economic pathways for her iwi.
