Jamie is the founder and CEO of Soul Capital. A recovering academic with a background in social entrepreneurship, he’s pathologically optimistic about our ability to do investing better and create an economic system that serves people while protecting and regenerating nature.

Dave brings strategic clarity and a deeply human-centered approach to solving complex problems. A trusted advisor and collaborative coach, he combines intuition with discipline to drive meaningful outcomes. Alongside his role at Soul Capital, Dave works as an executive coach and advisor to mission-driven leaders.

NON-EXEC DIRECTOR

Deb is an investor, researcher, and advisor with decades of experience working alongside entrepreneurs. She’s a Senior Lecturer at the University of Auckland Business School and a long-time champion of social entrepreneurship and impact investment. Her belief: all businesses should pursue impact and financial success—side by side.

Dr Jamie Newth is a recognised leader in Aotearoa’s impact-investment movement, melding entrepreneurial drive, systems insight and academic rigour. As founder and CEO of Soul Capital, he has built a pioneering fund manager channel purpose-aligned capital into ventures generating measurable social and environmental value.

Teresa Tepania-Ashton MNZM is a distinguished Māori leader and independent director whose career spans global banking, enterprise strategy and impact investment. After a 12-year rise within Citibank to Vice-President, she returned to Aotearoa to lead Te Rūnanga‑ā‑Iwi o Ngāpuhi as CEO (2004–2011), building corporate assets and economic pathways for her iwi.

With a prior career in corporate finance (CPA-qualified) and executive roles in start-ups and SMEs, Alex Dallas brings both financial discipline and entrepreneurial instinct. Her work bridges purpose and performance, supporting ventures that achieve scalable, regenerative impact and enduring value.

Paul Shanley FCA (ANZ) is a seasoned investment leader and impact strategist with a distinguished career in sustainable finance, private equity and venture capital. Before his tenure as COO and then CEO at Impact Investment Group (IIG), he held senior roles across major financial services firms including JBWere and Australian Unity, overseeing transformation programmes, financial operations and governance.
