    Jamie is the founder and CEO of Soul Capital. A recovering academic with a background in social entrepreneurship, he’s pathologically optimistic about our ability to do investing better and create an economic system that serves people while protecting and regenerating nature.

    Dr Jamie Newth is a recognised leader in Aotearoa’s impact-investment movement, melding entrepreneurial drive, systems insight and academic rigour. As founder and CEO of Soul Capital, he has built a pioneering fund manager channel purpose-aligned capital into ventures generating measurable social and environmental value.

    Teresa Tepania-Ashton

    Teresa Tepania-Ashton MNZM is a distinguished Māori leader and independent director whose career spans global banking, enterprise strategy and impact investment. After a 12-year rise within Citibank to Vice-President, she returned to Aotearoa to lead Te Rūnanga‑ā‑Iwi o Ngāpuhi as CEO (2004–2011), building corporate assets and economic pathways for her iwi.

    Paul Shanley FCA (ANZ) is a seasoned investment leader and impact strategist with a distinguished career in sustainable finance, private equity and venture capital. Before his tenure as COO and then CEO at Impact Investment Group (IIG), he held senior roles across major financial services firms including JBWere and Australian Unity, overseeing transformation programmes, financial operations and governance.
