Step-by-step
1. Send Us Your Story
Share your pitch deck, business plan, or other materials that give us a clear sense of your kaupapa. The more context you give, the easier it is to see if we’re the right fit for each other.
2. First Meeting
If there’s alignment, we’ll set up a time to kōrero. In this first meeting, we’ll explore:
The impact your venture is creating
Your team and what drives you
Why you believe your model will succeed
We start with whanaungatanga, because we invest in founders, not just forecasts. Understanding your values and vision helps us see how you’ll grow your impact over time.
3. Due Diligence
If we proceed, you’ll present to our Investment Committee during preliminary due diligence. If they support moving forward, we’ll begin full due diligence.
We believe in shared effort and a transparent process. If you’ve secured a lead investor, we’ll aim to collaborate and reduce duplication. Where possible, we share due diligence to support co-investment and unlock more capital for impact.
4. Term Sheet
If we’re leading the round, we’ll propose a term sheet that reflects both our commercial discipline and our commitment to impact. We build in safeguards to ensure your mission stays central—even as your venture grows or pivots.
5. Investment Approval, Management, and Measurement
Once the Investment Committee approves the deal, we’ll move into the legal phase—drafting documents and completing the transaction.
Theory of Change
We’ll also work with you on impact measurement. Starting with your Theory of Change, we’ll help identify the system levers you’re pulling and track the real-world change your venture is delivering.
