Jamie is the founder and CEO of Soul Capital. With a background in social entrepreneurship, he’s pathologically optimistic about our ability to do investing better and create an economic system that serves people while protecting and regenerating nature.

EXEC DIRECTOR

Dave brings strategic clarity and a deeply human-centered approach to solving complex problems. A trusted advisor and collaborative coach, he combines intuition with discipline to drive meaningful outcomes. Alongside his role at Soul Capital, Dave works as an executive coach and advisor to mission-driven leaders.

NON-EXEC DIRECTOR

Deb is an investor, researcher, and advisor with decades of experience working alongside entrepreneurs. She’s a Senior Lecturer at the University of Auckland Business School and a long-time champion of social entrepreneurship and impact investment. Her belief: all businesses should pursue impact and financial success—side by side.

INVESTMENT PRINCIPAL

Alex pairs financial rigor with a passion for purpose. After a corporate finance career (CPA-qualified), she stepped into the startup world as a CFO, raising capital and navigating acquisitions. She’s held executive and governance roles across startups and SMEs, and most recently led investment teams in a Tauranga-based impact fund, backing ventures that deliver real-world returns.

VENTURE PRINCIPAL

Jon is a strategist and venture builder with a track record across startups, consulting, and investment. He’s passionate about working at the intersection of science-backed creativity and action to transform the future.

SENIOR INVESTMENT ANALYST

Anna brings a sharp legal mind and deep capital markets experience to Soul Capital. As a CFA charterholder with a background in law, she’s worked across equity, debt, and fund markets—guiding both public issuers and private companies preparing to list on NZX. Her work connects people, businesses, and capital to unlock growth with purpose.

Beyond the deal table, Anna co-chairs the INFINZ Young Women in Finance Committee, championing inclusion and leadership in New Zealand’s financial sector.

INVESTMENT ANALYST

Jamie supports Soul Capital’s deal team, working closely with founders through due diligence, managing inbound opportunities, and shaping strategic outputs. With a background in Medicinal Chemistry and a Master’s in Public Policy, she brings analytical rigor and a systems mindset to every investment.

Jamie is driven by a commitment to positive change across Aotearoa. Her work aligns deeply with Soul Capital’s kaupapa—bringing impact investing into the mainstream.
